National Radio Astronomy Observatory Located in Green Bank, West Virginia, the National Radio Astronomy Observatory boasts the largest fully steerable single aperture antenna radio telescope in the world: the Robert C. Byrd Radio Telescope. Supported by the National Science Foundation as well as Associated Universities, the Green Bank Telescope is used by scientists to study objects in space. The National Radio Astronomy Observatory also offers public tours and a science center, complete with a cafe and gift shop to ensure that your group will have an astronomical amount of fun learning about space!
